What we've been up to during lockdown.

We hope all of our followers are managing to stay healthy and happy during these difficult times.

Like many, lockdown - although difficult at times - has given us a bit of spare time. For us, this means more time to tinker with the Scalextrics!

Below are 3 main things we've been up to here at Spaven Scalextric Events:

Renovating Pitstops and Circuit Accessories: Now we've got our branding sorted, I've been adding some little details to some of the buildings you'll see on our circuits. One of the things I love most about Scalextric are the little details that make the circuit that bit different.

Video Editing: One of the things I've been really keen to work on is creating videos of the Scalextric setup in action, so that I can share what we're up to, particularly now many of our events for this year have been cancelled. If there is enough interest, I might put together some online events, to keep people occupied during lockdown. Below you can see my first attempt! Let me know what you think.

Modifying Scalextric Cars: Some of our cars were rattling quite badly while running. I've been experimenting with modifications to make them run that little bit better. I'll do a separate post on this soon.
